What is the LAB?
The LAB- Listening Above & Beyond is the CASA social clinic and was created from a commitment to make mental health care more accessible. It offers a welcoming and ethical space for affordable psychoanalysis, psychotherapy, responding to the needs of those unable to afford full fees.
Purpose!
To ensure mental health support reaches the most vulnerable populations, and to foster a sense of community where we support and care for one another. We believe that access to mental health is a right and that together, we can build pathways to make it accessible for all.
How it works?
When you reach out to the Social Clinic by filling in the request form or contacting us via WhatsApp, we begin with an intake to understand your needs and situation. You are then referred to a professional, of our team — always with the same commitment to attentive listening, responsible care, and ethical practice.
Fees & languages available.
Sessions are offered at a social fee from $0 to $60 for people experiencing socio-economic disadvantage. For those in greater vulnerability. Support is available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French — and if you need another language, let us know and we’ll do our best to connect you with someone who can help.
